What to expect before the launch of OnePlus Two on August 11

Just months after the OnePlus One launch, it was announced that it will be having a successor, apparently named OnePlus Two at that time. OnePlus, a Chinese startup company has made it quite big with it’s first installment, and on August 11 will be the company’s second installment’s launch, OnePlus Two.



The first device of the franchise not bad itself, already had a successor announced after just days of it’s launch. Reportedly, the device will come in three variants, A2001, A2003 and A2005. Unlike the first variant, the other two will come loaded with a 4GB LPDDR4 RAM. The first variant is expected to pack a 3GB LPDDR4 RAM. The device will be launched at a price range of 22,999/- INR and 24,999/- INR for 16GB and 64GB models respectively. This smartphone is expected to launch in the end of the third quarter of year 2015. The device will come pre-loaded with a Sandstone Black back cover. It will also come with four StyleSwap covers reportedly named Bamboo, Blaack Apricot, Rosewood and Kevlar. The purchase of the smartphone will be available on Amazon exclusively, with the traditional invite system.

To sum the phone all up, it will be backed by a 3300mAh battery and will be powered by a Lollipop(v5.1.1) version of Android with CyanogenMod UI. The display sports a 5.5″ 1080p corning gorilla glass 3 screen. The second installment in the OnePlus series also comes with a fingerprint scanner which can save upto 5 fingerprints, which is faster than iPhone’s Touch ID and will be fitted with a USB Type-C Port.
 


 
It comes with a 13MP rear camera with a resolution of 4128×3096 with laser auto-focus and a dual LED flash and can record a 1080p video at 60 fps, the front camera packs a 5MP lens and sports an ability to record 1080p videos at 30fps. The camera also allows you to take 50MP photos and also sports a slow motion mode. The phone will be loaded with a Quallcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset and a Adreno 430 GPU.

Though, the smartphone is priced at a pretty great amount range of of 22,999 to 24,999 for different variants but it will be some wait until August 11. Until then, I would suggest you guys to do some research before ordering it home.
