The LeEco (formerly Letv) Le 1s which was unveiled in October in China for CNY 1,099 ($165 roughly) makes through the Indian market and will be going on sale on February 2. The device is a Flipkart exclusive and will be available via flash sale for which registrations have started from 20th January, Wednesday at 6pm IST.

The Le 1s is priced at 10,999 INR and it comes with 32GB storage on-board. The LeEco Le 1s is a 5.5” phablet which comes with a full-HD (1080×1920; 403 PPI) IPS display and also with full metal unibody. The device also features a fingerprint scanner below the primary camera which is growing a lot of demand nowadays. The fingerprint sensor is also capable of taking pictures with a single touch. Under the hood it sports a 64 Bit octa-core 2.2GHz MediaTek Helio X10 Turbo MTK6795T SoC; powered by 3GB RAM; 32GB storage and is running on EUI 5.5 based on Android 5.0 lollipop.
The handset weighs 169 grams and the dimensions are 151x74x7.5mm. Connectivity includes Bluetooth, WiFi, 4G LTE, 3G, GPS, Micro-USB. The handset offers dual sim functionality (Micro+Nano) with dual standby and LTE support in both. There is a 13MP with PDAF rear camera with single LED flash and a 5MP front facing selfie camera.
The Le 1s has been backed up by a Li-poly 3000mAh non removable battery. It also supports reversible USB Type-C and comes with SpeedVolt fast charging technology which is capable of offering 3.5 hours playback with just 5 minutes of charging. The company said that the Android 6.0 update will likely be made by March-April. The fingerprint sensor has a mirror surface which unlocks in 0.15 seconds and with 99.3% accuracy. The non expendable battery might be an area of concern for some but overall in 11k the Le1s is a great value for money.
